Description

The SW5K24MVK is a 5×2 seamless UHD multiview KVM switcher designed for installations where multiple video sources need to be viewed, switched and controlled from a single position. With four HDMI 2.0 inputs, one USB-C video input, dual mirrored HDMI outputs, USB KVM functionality and multiview processing, it is ideal for control rooms, trading desks, esports, video conferencing, teaching systems, presentation spaces and medical display applications.

The switcher supports Single, PIP, PBP, 3xWIN and 4xWIN display modes, allowing up to four sources to be shown simultaneously on one screen. In single-window mode, switching is seamless and black-frame-free. Up to 20 scenes can be saved and recalled for quick layout changes without reconfiguration.

Both HDMI outputs mirror the same scaled signal and support resolutions up to 3840×2160@60Hz. The built-in scaling engine also supports a wide range of HD, UHD and PC output resolutions, with 4K-Auto mode helping maintain compatibility with displays that do not fully support 4K.

Integrated USB KVM control allows a single keyboard and mouse to operate connected host PCs. Four rear USB-B host ports map to HDMI inputs 1 to 4, while the USB-C video input shares Host 4. In PBP, 3-window and 4-window modes, USB roaming lets the mouse move between windows and automatically switches KVM focus to the relevant source, making it especially effective for monitoring and multi-PC operator workflows.

The unit also includes analogue 3.5mm stereo and Toslink optical audio outputs, both active simultaneously. Audio can be routed independently from any input or from the active window source. Supported HDMI audio formats include LPCM, AC3, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS and DTS-HD up to 7.1 channels. Please note the USB-C input supports LPCM 2.0 audio only.

For integration into larger AV and control systems, the SW5K24MVK supports front panel control, IR remote, RS-232 and TCP/IP. It is suitable for use with automation platforms. The HDMI B mirrored output can also be used for a second local display, audio amplifier, video capture device or remote display link via an HDMI extension system.
